The 4100 isn't actually a bad choice if you're not going to be doing anything seriously multithreaded (i.e. rendering x 4 cores) as Phenom II processors will always perform better fort that due to architecture design; the 4100 is great for lower-budget (i.e. it costs less, Amazon has it for $100 shipped) builds or for people who want to have lower system power consumption (the 4100 consumes less power than Phenom II x4/x6).  I'm a pretty big fan of the 960T itself though but at the moment it does cost much more.

All right, it says that for DDR3 1600+ I have to manually set it. Should I buy DDR3 1600 or 1333 to go with it?

OK, that's what I was thinking. Should I get CAS 7 1600 or CAS 9 1866?

dont really want to but it, but still ... i got two friends that got one the i3 2100 and one a 945. On the 2100 he has a 6850 and the 945 has a 5850 (so gpus are comparable). When we are gaming the 2100 performs better than the 945 in the sense that it can handle more units in RTS games. FPS games are more or less the same.

Well, a 960T at 4GHz should easily outperform an i3...
