That's the same settings as my 'Auto' too, and the lag spikes are harsh for me... frown.gif

Sorry to be a noob but what is CAP 1?

Thanks for your help

You might want to add another 4GB of RAM. I noticed incredibly smoother play by adding RAM, not sure how in the world BF3 soaks up so much but it seems it does.

Makes the game a lot more fluid and I've noticed waaaaaay less 'spiking' in the monitoring graphs.

Go to http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx and select desktop graphics> Radeon HD series> Radeon 6xxx series PCIe> Your OS then download the CAP under the CCC

I play battle field 3 also. I have a phenom II x2 555 black edition oc to 3.8 ghz, 8 gigs of ram. XFX radeon hd 4770 stock. I play it on lowest sittings. I get occasional lag, and freezes. I monitor my system the only thing I see is that My gpu always hits 99% and stays there. What can I do? OC the GPU?

You could try uninstalling the drivers and do a driver sweep then install the latest drivers.
