Freaking awesome... Only thing I can say, buy it outright, and drop in an AT&T Straight Talk sim. Win and winning

If you've been with AT&T for several years nothing... you'd never know whats wrong. (It after you leave AT&T, that you realize how "wrong" they are.)

-old & slow 3G network

-low signal strength (typically)

-disconnects

-over billing

-limited usage & throttling

-circular phone bank

-limited 4G coverage

I had two carriers, down to just Sprint now, but will move to Verizon in June when the Nokia "Apollo" phones come out.

i have at&t right now, i can't speak for 3g/4g or data what so ever since i'm using a 4 year old lg shine, i've only had problems with disconnects when i was out in the boonies, hilly farm land, which i doubt most carriers have great signal strength in either way, but that's the only place i've gone and had that problem

yea the billing is steep, i have no idea what circular phone bank is, but i'll take your word for it

i might eat my words when i finally upgrade to a smartphone, but till than at&t works just fine for now, for me at least

Just to think the HTC Titan and Samsung Focus S are going into EOL. The switch to LTE phones is causing it. Sad that my phone is barely 5 months old.

I had AT&T for awhile like 3 years ago no problems, now I'm with Sprint because I get a discount (I'm a RN Sprint offers that here)

I have AT&T in Seattle, and it works alright. When I am downtown, my speed goes down to around 1Mbps download, and 0.9 Mbps Upload. I also Work at Century Link Field(Seahawks, and Sounders), which I get better speeds during the week there than downtown, but when there are games, my Iphone 4s is pretty much useless. I can hardly make phone calls or send texts with out my data turned on in my settings. When I had a different phone (WP7, Blackberry, and Android) I could use data on the EDGE network and it would work just fine, minus the terribly slow speed of EDGE. With my data enabled on my Iphone, I get "full signal" but I can't even send a text. AT&T wont do a whole lot to solve this problem either, for they said that they already added a new tower to the area to help solve this problem. The problem is that they need to put more than two towers in the Stadium coverage, because 67,000 people is a lot of stress on all of the networks in the area. Verizon seems to do just fine though, but they also put up enough mobile towers on event days for load management.

Anyone know how I can lawfully get out of my 2 year contract with them?

They recently took my unlimited data away because I was using 30+GB a month. They said I was tethering, and flat out told me they don't have to prove it. I emailed corporate telling them they can give my data back, let me out of my contract, or see me in litigation, and within 2 weeks I had my data back.
