Appraisal: Full Desktop (Possible part-out)

OK guys, I have been considering downgrading my current system and there isn't much local interest. I could part it out online or attempt to sell it as a whole but I'm not sure what it's worth. I checked my components on NCIX.com and newegg.ca and the total was ~$2800 with NL tax. What do you think I could get for it?

only two things I would disagree with this one at the moment.

The i5-2500k can be had at microcenter for like 150 right now, and brand news it's only 200 bucks. So I personally would drop the price of the i5 down to 150. Also, the Plextor SSD brand new is 150 bucks with rebate from newegg, so I would say maybe try somewhat closer to 110-120 for the SSD. So far, from what I can remember the rest of the prices look alright, a bit on the high side but you can certainly try asking that amount

As with all my appraisals, feel free to list on the high side and maybe you'll get lucky, these are just my opinions smile.gif

Thanks guys, I was going to ask $1800 locally so it seems that's within reason.

This is being sold in Canada. The 2500K is still $219 + tax here. The SSD is $189 + tax so I could ask less for that if I decide to part out.

yes i tried to price on Canadian prices and $1800 seems fair as i allowed for any taxes or error in total price smile.gif
