Why is my HDD Corrupting While Folding? - Page 2

How does one run a VM in/on a ramdisk? Make a ramdisk and load the VM in it?

edit - Auto VCCIO is going to put it at 1.05 in all circumstances, no?

Sorry I just dont know what a ramdisk is...

Well it was 1.14v VCCIO before the corruption.. after the corruption is when I put it to auto.. Ill have to go through everything and check to make sure its stable before I try folding again..

Best of luck. thumb.gif Ramdisks are the bee's knees, when you get passed this present darkness you should take a look at one of the guides. SSDs are fast, ramdisks are as fast as fast gets after they are loaded.

Thanks man and I will check it out.. Im getting off work soon, so I hope to have this figured out in acouple hours.. Got to hit up the gym first thumb.gif

I got to work off some of that weight (see avatar)

I just ran the HD Tune and my Ultra DMA CRC Error Count is 200..

So your saying just using another cable will fix it??
