Update 5/23/12:

Hey guys so got my fans in today. arctic cooling fans, not the best for radiators but for now while trying to fit everything for ~$5 each good enough

But yeah in order to be able to fit the front I/O port , had to grind down one corner of one the fans, pretty tight fit but just barely managed to pull it off (give or tax 3-4mm or so before the USB PCB would interfere with the fan blades)

Still have alot of work to do

(started dieing on the dust from the fan

, forgot my respirator this time )

Update 5/29/12:

Hey guys so i have been doing some work on the build some more now. Have been playing around with the fittings to get everything to fit right but, heres a quick pic of what i got so far from about 2 days ago

(forgot to updated >_< )

In the back i got 2 koolance quick disconnect (as well as one in the front) which i will be using to fill and drain and fill the rig

Orginally i was going with a air cooled sg05 i can use this summer when i travel down to my GF's for 2 months.. butttt had a few WCing parts sitting around (pump, rad and a few fittings) so seemed like the perfect project to use them

On a side note i think i noticed a design flaw on how i put into my quick disconnect placement, so it wont fill very well, have to double check though

Update 6/12:

Hey guys, so i havent had to much time to work on things since finals are up this week (got one in an hour

). But! ive made some progress, Got the mounting brackets for the rad in, since one of the outlets on the rad would interfere with the bracket i ended up cutting it with a dremel. hmmm along with that im prepping to cut a window in the side the case where the mesh is and removing the extra fan mount in the front the case to allow for more air to come into the case.

With the loop, i realized what the design flaw was (basically a silly error where the air cant escape) so im going to be ordering a mini valve which should fix the problem, although add 1 1/2 inches more tubing

Currently even with the gtx 670's 4gbs out im waiting for the waterblocks to be released to make sure for computability, at the moment im looking at an EK nickel block... but ... just have to wait and see.

Hey all, not a picture update, but i talked to some watercooling shops here in the us and they said they should be getting gtx 670 waterblocks in next 7 days

Im going with a nickel ek block (although the new top design i will admit is not amazing i dont think its ... tooo bad ). As for the evga gtx 670 4gb, that should be in within the next week or two .. not really sure if i should be going with 4gb cards, but i have a feeling if i go with a 2gb ill regret it down the line.

I decided to remove the 3.5inch HDD storage drive and going to opt for 2 Corsair force GT's 120gbs in raid 0. Since i honestly dont use more then 200gbs on my desktops and its a travel rig proably be good to have something a bit more rugged

To accommodate the two SSD's ill be adding an internal hot swap bay on the inside.. taking them out would be a pain after all the WCing gear is installed

But yeah got five weeks off for summer, ill do my best keep this updated more regular and try to keep it more interesting

Oh man i just looked up some pics with the red/green/blue fluid and it does look much better

hmmm this might work out pretty well

Thanks! thought the extenders would be a better solution in terms of routing only downside is that its just gonna weigh ...a good amount
