the trick is open the game and the get the wire that connect to ur pc from ur speakers out and put it back in ...
also try putting a wire into ur mic while trying this...

its not your motherboard problem due to sound it still working everywhere else

another try is go second click on ur sound botton on the right coner of your task bar , go to volume control mixer and tick the one ur using.
after that also go to volume mixer and see which sound output iss controlling your games

I tried to reinstall the drivers again but no luck.. I also tried to reinstall realtek with no luck either, for some reason when I open up the volume mixer the games I try still dont show up there like they used to.

I was hoping that changing it to 16 bits would work but that didn't either frown.gif

Perhaps I should try to do a fresh install of windows?

Seems like the games are trying to access a different sound device. Right click on your volume icon and go to Playback devices and ensure that your speakers are set to the default device.

It *could* be an issue with DirectX, I'm just not sure if you can actually repair that without a windows re-install. You could try running DXDiag (type into start menu) and see if reports any issues, or maybe try the latest web install of directx.

Thanks for the help! The directx didn't do anything since I already have it installed on the pc.. But I think I may just reinstall windows. The only thing is that I have no idea what files I need and files I don't need... but that could be some simple searching
