SOLUTION
For anyone with a similar problem, the cheapest and easiest solution is to buy an HDMI® Extender Using Cat5e or CAT6 Cable found here. It will extend HDMI signals at High-speed rating for 98ft (depending on your source and receiving devices, but should do 50ft consistently). You can also get the two Cat6 cables here. At the time of purchase, the total was $33 plus shipping.
I need to run about 45ft of HDMI Cable from my desktop's GPU (Radeon HD 7970) and my receiver (Pioneer VSX-821-K). I will then connect the receiver to an LED-LCD HDTV (Sharp Aquos 70").
Monoprice has some 50ft 22awg silver plated cables and some regular 45ft 22awg cables. However, both of these are listed as Standard HDMI and the detailed specs list they handle 720p/1080i. I want to play my games in 1080p. Some people have mentioned these cables can handle 1080p just fine, but I wanted to confirm before ordering.
The other option would be to purchase two 25ft 22awg silver plated high speed HDMI cables and link them with a repeater. However, this doubles the cost.
Lastly, there is a cheap active 22awg HDMI cable for sale at BestBuy that runs 50ft.
So my main concerns are:
1) Can anyone who owns one of the 45-50ft 22awg standard cables from Monoprice confirm they can support 1080p?
2) Which option gives me the best quality over that long a distance?
3) Does the repeater require additional external power?
EDIT: There is actually a fourth option. It is to move my setup closer and run a 15ft High-speed HDMI cable and use a 75-100ft coaxial cable to connect my modem. I do not want to lose any connection quality. Will this long a run be significant?
On a side note, I know about BJC Series 1 cables, so that might be another (if expensive) option. Still, I would like to keep this as low cost as possible while providing a clean picture.
Cost Breakdown:
Option 1 - $50-55
Option 2 - $110
Option 3 - $30
