How much DRAM Voltage can RipjawsX 1.35v RAM take on SB?

Thread Starter
I am about to build my new system this week, waiting for the last 2 components which will arrive later this week.

My new MSI Z77A GD-65 board paired with 16GB of G.Skill RipjawsX F3-12800CL9Q-16GBXM 1600Mhz CL9 1.35v RAM.

Simple and very short question I have about that combo.
How high of a DRAM voltage can I apply when overclocking the RAM?
Can it take 1.65v without issues or can I only go to like 1.45-1.5v due to it being 1.35v RAM.

EDIT: For now the CPU is a 2500k I got for VERY cheap 2nd hand. When the i7 3770k is properly available and at a decent price point i'm getting that, hence the Z77 board.

Yes they can be overvolted safely. I would say 1.65 is the limit. Just keep the voltage as low as possible smile.gif

Because this kit has the proper color scheme matching my mods and it was a steal secondhand, just like the CPU.
