Cod4 was meh, the single player was ok I guess, but the mutiplayer was complete crap compared to CoD: UO's multiplayer. 60+ players, huge maps, vehicles, tons of custom maps, mods, etc.....

CoD4 also supports 64 players servers, customs maps, mods, dedicated servers, competitiveness, etc etc.

Has he been with IW for a while now? I wonder why he didn't quit an join Respawn the last time he didn't get paid.

Hated MW2 and WaW though, don't know why, but I can't play them without getting bored really quickly.

I feel the same way actually. CoD4 and MW3 were fun, but the ones released between those two not so much. Blops was total garbage, and MW2 and WaW were just OK.

Nope. There's still Treyarch plus Infinity Ward kind of exists.

I don't care to see the end of Call Of Duty. I would like to see the end of Call of Duty as we know it, though, however unlikely that may be.

Robert Bowling didn't have much to do with the game itself, but he was one of few links between the developers and the community. Being that he resigned, he either felt so much sympathy for the community that he didn't want to deal with it anymore or he was tired of being on the receiving end of the vocal part of the CoD community (those who have been wanting change since what they did to MW2). Or he may have just wanted to move on. I guess I really don't care in the end.. xD

CoD4 was a lot of fun. I disagree with MW3 being fun, though and Black Ops being garbage. It's the other way around for me. MW3 caters to bad players way too much for it to be fun for me and Black Ops had a really good sense of balance compared to MW2 and MW3 which did make it fun. Still had its flaws but not as many as MW2 and MW3.
