SSD Windows Index rating decreased from 7.2 to 5.9?

I hadn't refreshed the windows index rating thing in a few months but last time I done it I scored 7.2 for my hard drive's speed. I'm on it today and click refresh and now I can't achieve anything higher than 5.9 for the hard drive rating? What gives? I hope this isn't anything to do with the SATA degradation that was supposed to have been fixed on the 3.1 boards :/.

I suppose your original statement could be possible, but I believe that only was the Sata II ports? Did you run a benchmark such as AS SSD? You can't trust the WEI. As long as the benchies come back correct, you have nothing to worry about. I had a similar problem in the past when I had an SSD and spindle drive connected at the same time.

Thanks, I tried that but I'm not sure if my benchmarks are what I should get, seems a bit low to me, but then again I forgot what I had originally.
