UPDATE!!!!
I bet you though I had forgotten about you guys... NOPE.

Finalized the v2 prototype so as I can begin testing proof of concept!!! This is rough at this point because i want to test function alone. ill work on acetal finishing later.

So Like I stated before I wanted to shift away from the Pyrex tubing and BP fittings for v2. The acrylic tube bent up nice and fit really well. These are epoxied in at this point. Final models will be using an adhesive designed to bond acetal. I do like how the removal of the fittings cleaned up the lines at the ends.

If you need a test subject for a smaller res I would be happy to oblige..even if I get funny growths on my face, or lose hair

But no for serious man..this thing is so cool! I like the helix reservoirs..but this takes it to the next level!

Well 3 freaking weeks later I FINALLY got my res in. Flowing good no leaks or anything. But it looks like I'm having some issues with cavitation from the flow going into the upper part of the res. The positioning of the tubes, along with the inlet location at the bottom, is causing most of the flow to run through one of the tubes up to the top at a higher pressure. I may need to create a defuser in the lower chamber to even out the movement of the water through the res. The bubbles aren't making it back down to the bottom chamber to get into the loop. But its kinda annoying that i see them dancing around in the tubes.

Yeah its the angle. Optical illusion. All the tubes look straight from one side as they are only bent on one axis. the twisted look is accomplished by staggering the tubes clockwise to the next hole from the top to the bottom.
