Build From Spare Parts - Options?

Thread Starter
So I'm looking to build a PC for light gaming & some general use, and trying to utilize my spare parts.

Here are a list of my spare parts:

1. GPU (AMD Radeon HD 6850)
2. Optical Drive
3. 500GB HDD
4. Cpu Coolers (Stock Intel, CM V8)
6. ATX Case (Storm Scout)
7. OS/Speaker/Keyboard/Mouse/Monitor/All other Peripherals
8. Various Case Fans

So basically I'm missing the following:

Cpu
Mobo
Power Supply
Ram

What I'm stuck between deciding is whether to update my Sig Rig and move the cpu, mobo, and ram to my 2nd desktop PC.
OR
save some cash and buy cheaper parts to finish the build with spare parts.

The power supply will probably be an obvious choice. I'll just grab a 500W Power Supply.

NOTE: I live near Microcenter, so i'm using microcenter CPU prices.

Option A:

CPU : i3 2100 (~$100)
PC 2 - Mobo: ???? (~$80?)
PC 2 - Ram: ~$50??
PC 2 - Power Supply: 500W (~$60?)

Option B:
PC 1 - CPU: i7 2500k ($180 - $50*** Microcenter Deal when bundled with motherboard = $130)
PC 1 - Mobo: ????
PC 1 OR PC 2- Ram: $??
PC 2 - Power Supply : 500W (~$60?)

just upgrade when ivy bridge / panther point drops. if you are even thinking about it, you know you can't resist the urges.

In your case, I suggest the same thing as above.
