Do you use the mouse scroll wheel or do you use the number row on your keyboard?

I have never been able to get comfortable with the number row so I use the mouse wheel but I find it does have some disadvantages when trying to switch to something quickly.

does it just take awhile to get used to? I have a hard time trying to move and switch weapons... how do you move and switch weapons at the same time?

Always number keys. The scroll wheel is too slow. If you want to go from C4 to MG, you need to cycle through everything in between. With the numbers you can skip that.

Number keys are the best, I honestly can't tell you how long it takes getting used to. Been playing that way ever since Counter Strike 1.2.

I like to use the two side buttons on my mouse for primary and secondary. I use the numbers for everything else though.

I use mouse wheel to switch between pistol to main gun and number keys for slot 3 or later.

Honestly, it depends on the situation. If there isn't a need to change weps fast ill do it with my scroll wheel. If I just ran outta ammo and don't have time to reload I'll smash the number keys.

Although, when I use the scroll wheel, I only use it to switch through primary and secondary, nothing else.

The number keys are much faster and you get the hang of making sure you can have w pressed down while pressing any of them.
