[TDGT] Asus launches its GeForce GTX 680 card at Rs. 46,000 - Page 7

Like it matters. With stuff that's more expensive in their country (same with anywhere really), they usually just have a relative or friend in the US buy it for them then have it shipped. Pretty crazy price though.

New Zealand prices reporting in:

Asus & Gigabyte GTX680 = $1000 NZD = $820 USD.

http://www.computerlounge.co.nz/components/componentview.asp?partid=16497

This is the cheapest available, this is the kind of bull we have to put up with here with pricing. It seems that each time the product changes hands, another $100 is slapped onto the final price the consumer pays.

It frustrates me greatly how easy people in U.S have it with stupidly cheap prices...and they earn far more over there than we do here, so it's actually even cheaper. The concept of tri/quad-SLI would make someone cry over here.

You beat me to it tippy, i was about to start a rant about nz prices, well i guess i just did.
It is seriously screwed how it costs close to double (closeish) the price you pay in us. I will be importing my gtx 680s, and will get slammed with large customs tax on electronics goods, better than $1000 though.

But, yeah, seeing those kind of prices in the same continent where they're fabbed is insane.

Guess again.

wow didnt realize the prizing on other contries was so bad. here in Manila if a product is 550$ in retail they'll have it about 560-575$ here in manila. not bad at all tbh
