Most Asus's have some backup recovery BIOS thing. If it did, your motherboard manual would have further directions.

Other than that, out of ideas.

Two days old? Return it. It's defective as far you're concerned.

The dreaded shut down during a flash. Bummer. Check your manual as mentioned above, if there's no backup feature, you may be out of luck.

$10 pre-programmed? Sounds good.

But you are supposed to update your BIOS. If some retailer told you it was your fault that it bricked, then I would go ahead and brick their front window tonight.

should exchange for a new one. IMO the mobo is defective if it cannot be properly flashed. You did everything correctly, it just failed something it shouldn't have.

i don't know, because the problem is the following, the bios said, update was installed successfully click ok for reboot then it freeze and after a few second it shutted down like there was a power drain, dunno if there was a black out because the pc and monitor were the only devices powered on and my monitor when u get no signal shuts down for power saving... maybe i'm unlucky that this happened to me or it was the mobo... dunno what to say, oh the cpu was overclocked at 5.0 ghz stable when i updated bios was this my fault? i ordered already that usb device that flash eeproms so i just wait for it, unfortunatelly i ordered it from another country and it was shipped by international mail service, and it it very slow someone waited even a month, someone has other ideas? i really think that wasmy fault and that i should not update the bios, now i'm wondering why i wanted to update it cuz everything was working awesome...

I can tell you that that 3202 has definitely helped with stability, so you didn't make a mistake by updating. You were probably going to see better overclocks with this latest BIOS just as others do.

What exactly did you order? You can flash an EEPROM from any motherboard that it will fit--the chips are usually standard across one or more platforms. It's called hot flashing.
