Audigy2 and 2.09.0016 - fresh install question

Thread Starter
I recently installed my Audigy2 Value card into a new computer and instead of intalling the OLD drivers off the Creative CD I downloaded and installed the latest (2.09.0016) from the support site. Afterwards I realized that this install does NOT include any of the control software such as EQ, Speaker Calibration, etc. What is the best way to install all of these software components without messing up the Drivers? I noticed that these applications are all in sub-folders on the install disc but there is not a way to install ALL of them without running the main Setup and also installing OLD drivers. What is the best/safest way to proceed?

Thanks

You should be able to browse the disk or even choose what you would like to install. If not then just install from the disk then just install the drivers over the top of the old ones. This seems to be a hassle for all of the Creative crew- not being able to download the official console etc...

When you go to install on the CD, just go to custom install. And at the bottom uncheck the driver.

I didn't get a custom install option initialy which through me off. The only choices were

Audigy2 (which is drivers and all other control software)
Creative Media Source.

But once i get past the main install screen and after directory pick the custom option is there. I was just afriad that it would just go ahead and install the drivers once I got that far. Great!

Thanks,
Mitch
