E7+E9 or sound card?

Thread Starter
Recently picked up a pair of Denon d2000's now i'm looking at something better than on board sound.

Question is E7+E9 combo, or just get a soundcard? not sure which is better for me. I will mostly be listening to music, but will also be playing some games (d3, bf3)
Any tips for helping me decide?

If your source is a PC and u dun need portability to use a DAC on your personal/work lappie/netbook i would hunt a cheap PCI/PCIe soundcard and if demanding cans are on the table that E9 wink.gif

The Xonar Dg works good with them also. It depends if you want portability as said before. tongue.gif
