Water cooling help!

Hi i am a complete noob to water cooling and am wating to put together a set up. I currently have a Asus royal knight HSF which as you know is nowhere near a high end HSF and i have temps of 29c idle and 41c max so i dont think a high end water cooler is needed but i just want the look and the quiet of water. BTW thows temps are from a phenom b55 overclocked from 3.2 to 3.9ghz

i really dont have a big budget but dont want to really go for a h60, h80, h100 as i would like to put it together myself and they dont look very good.

would a thermaltake aqua m5 with rad and cpu block do? http://thermaltakeusa.com/Product.aspx?C=1162&ID=1638

thanks

If you're going to go the kit route, I'd recommend the XSPC Rasa kits... However, with temps like that... I'd probably stay the way I am. You're well under the temps that AMDs like to go to... so just not seeing the need... if you were to build a new rig, I'd say go for it...

If it's silence you're wanting, why not just get a fan controller, and dial down your cases fans until you reach a spot that is quiet, but still keeps your temps within reason. That's a real inexpensive solution the problem at hand.

Thanks for the advice I was looking in to the rasa kits they look really nice but just dont have the money for them atm, I have all but 1 of my fans on control via my MB the one thats not in my 22cm that makes the least sound I think the sound problem is my gpu that gets to 65% and is like a tornado in my case lol so I might just go for a after sale gpu fan but would really like water cooling to lower my max temp even thow I dont really need it just like to keep everything running cool!

Hi ok iv been lookin in to xspc rs240 but it really wont fit in my case and I have a idea of making a case just for my cooling setup like the reserater xt or what eva its called would you think that would work? I was thinking having a rs 240 at the front blowing through the case with vents at the back but then when I have the funds getting another rs or rx depending on money at the back of the case. But the question is would it work and would the rs pump be strong enough to travel from case to case as I have my case under my desk and the cooling case would be ontop with tubes going through the deck in to the top of the comp case. Also would the pump be strong enough for a gpu block when I can afford it after the second rad.

sorry for the big questions and thanks for reading!

p.s. I no that a rx would be better and all that but I am going for the rs at first then getting a nother rad to go with it.

thanks scariaar!
