EK Dominator does not fit => Mod - Page 2

You bought EK-RAM Dominator, the description clearly says: "EK-RAM Dominator is unique, extremely high flow waterblock that efficiently cools and replaces stock cooler of Corsair Dominator and Corsair Dominator GT series memory". I don't see how you are then surprised the product does not fit your memory modules.

nice, but seems to me you sprayed the whole piece in one layer? you should spray several thin(realy thin! you should be able to see through it even after a couple of layers) layers with ~5-10min between the layers. When you spray the whole thing in one layer the paint will either start to run, or form puddles at the low points if the piece is laying down, I think I se the later in your pictures. Either that or you used a realy thick layer of clear coat on top. You could use 1500, 2000 and 3000 sandpaper and water to achieve a near perfect finish, if you sanded the pieces before you painted them and used primer it should still be strong enough for this kind of use(I painted 2 motorbikes with this method and I had to crash one of them to damage the paint tongue.gif)

I used full coverage paint, its consistense is really thick and matt.
I did this intentionally though, since I like the look of it.

And no, I did do several layers.
The first one with a gloss white base finish, on that the thick full coverage one:)
