Samsung SA950/SA750 which one?

Thread Starter
So to compliment the finale of my build I've been thinking of getting one of these monitors. I did a little research but haven't had the time to really go sherlock holmes investigation. Mainly I just have a couple questions regarding each and which I should go for. From what I can see and have read, The 950 does not have any type of wall mount system while the 750 does. The failure tilt of samsung's base design over the years has killed me and I'm tired of the screen not being angled enough making the picture to dark. The base of the 950 puts the monitor way tilted back and I don't like that Normally I have to tilt the monitor forward otherwise the picture is to black. I like to watch anime and movies from my bed and it sits lower then my desk so you can see where it can start to become a problem.

So looking at the 750 I read it has a VESA mount and is still 120hz but is only possible through display port? Can anyone confirm this? Which would end up giving me better performance for gaming and is just better in general? Display port or Dual-link DVI? Also would like just a little light shed on the differences between the 2 monitors and if the angle/tilt is correctable on the 950 in any way. I had a small chance to play with a 950 in frys with Crysis 2 but GF kept buggin so It was only for a couple mins. I'm thinking of going eyefinity eventually with these monitors so take that into consideration as well.

That's pretty much all I can think of right now as I'm in a hurry, Thanks for the time guys/gals.

I have the SA750 and yes it has HDMI and Display port. And for you to get 120Hz out of this device is via display port, as hdmi caps you at 60hz. Hopefully this answers part of your question smile.gif Also as for dual-link and displayport speeds, display ports deliver more bandwith over DVI ( i read it somewhere).
