So that leaves what country of relevance to use this against? Money suck is a money suck, and no matter how much you try to polish this turd it won't make it look or smell any better.

That's true, that is why the F-22 was halted to only 195 units as far as i know because of budget problems. The last one being finalized in December 2011.

These 195 F-22's can destroy any air fleet in thye world,easily......, for you information thumb.gif

Clearly :US cannot build more of this planes, they are extremely expensive right now.

Now to the nuclear topic.

Even the Nuclear enemy countries might be afraid of launching a nuclear attack on the U.S,if Iran or china for example send their nuclear Missles U.S.they will be pounded until they get totally destroyed, even extinct lol

The United States currently maintains an arsenal of 8,000 warheads rolleyes.gif

I think you missed my point. This is MAD. I am also not arguing that the plane is impressive, it certainly is impressive. I am arguing that it is unnecessary, expensive, and does not provide any benefit.

Edit: I think you also missed this part of my quote...

If US wants to guarantee energy security for the future they really need to invest in civilian R&D of efficient alternative energy sources (not state subsidized corn farms) and focus on international philanthropic efforts.

Anyway, as I said, discussion is too political so I'm bowing out...

I didn't missed it , thumb.gif

I know the F-22 has no use in the actual scenario. But that does not make it a fail Airplane smile.gif

Other thing.....

When u said that U.S can't attack Nuclear enemies with these fighters, this is also mistaken.

The F-22 is designed to survive nuclear conditions,in cold and heat. In fact it is designed to disable Nuclear compunds with 1000 kgs, bunker precision penetartion missiles lol

Capability that also the F-35 has.....

I don't think we can bust the new Iranian smart concrete though and you know where they be using that stuff, all their N sites.

Seriously, think next time...

LOL. My example is not limited to a company developing a product to sell for profit. It applies to anything, and it has nothing to do with allowing a competitor time to "catch up." Why would anyone spend trillions of dollars developing something that is a million times better than what's out there when you can spend only a billion dollars and still be better than what's out there?

Good enough is good enough, especially when you're still better than what else is out there. It's useless to spend money and release something even better when the only person you're outdoing is yourself. If you proposed that idea to anyone--within a company or within a government-sponsored project, you'll be laughed out of your position.

And LOL, "government is not a business." As if millions of citizens are not employed or sponsored by government contracts. rolleyes.gif

Mig 35 may be old, but it's still more maneuverable. And last time I checked stealth doesn't matter much in close dog fights,
