FrozenCPU strikes again. - Page 13

FrozenCPU is great until you have to RMA or want a refund for something (even if it's faulty). I had 2 faulty things from them and decided I just wanted a refund and they wouldn't even do store credit. "Exchange or nothing". Yet their return policy states otherwise...

I generally risk it because for some reason they get things to my house the day after I order with standard shipping...

Same. It's always 1 day for me, even with standard shipping. And they generally have a larger selection to choose from, for more of the specialty stuff than newegg or amazon does, as well as not having to wait 3-5 days.

When the next best alternative is performance pc's, I always go with FrozenCPU. These two seem to have the parts I can't find anywhere else, so when I need one of those hard to find items I order from FrozenCPU and have never had an issue. PPC, on the other hand.. well lets just say i avoid them at all costs

You made this thread because you're mad and you didn't get the response you wanted from FrozenCPU. You want attention and you have the "If I don't get amazing service, then I'll burn the company to the ground" attitude, and frankly, you need to stop typing and leave here.
The only reason you're even on this forum is being you're trying to damage a company. I would not be surprised in the slightest if you made this same post on other forums like [H] and EVGA.
We've seen threads like this before from literally every single tech company. "Look at how bad [XFX/ASUS/PPC/Intel/Any other brand]'s support is!" Every company makes mistakes, yet thread after thread, people decide to publicize these mistakes anyways. You wouldn't even be on this forum if FrozenCPU had shipped out everything or shipped out the missing part with next-day shipping.
Your problem lies with FrozenCPU, not the forum members here. All you are doing is causing trouble and I don't understand why someone hasn't locked this thread yet. Get off of your high horse and stop thinking you're above everyone.

Entertaining how the same 4 people keep coming back and giving their input, yet you can tell they haven't read all the post by some of their comments. I've been called all kinds of things from this thread and now a liar. Amazing what someone can assume from a few post.

My problem has always been with FrozenCPU and never the forum members here.

If you don't like the thread, don't come back. It's as simple as that. You've posted on it more than most. You're responsible for it staying on the first page. I should thank you. Matter of fact...

Thanks Detroitsoldier. I appreciate your continued support and input on this thread. Please, continue posting. This thread has had thousands of views now. There must be some substance here to keep people coming back to it.

The only thing I've done here is give a review of my experiences. Take it, or leave it. It doesn't matter to me. I said somewhere 10 pages back that I felt I had succeeded in putting the spotlight on bad company policies. I've been done with this thread since then... but I keep getting my inbox spammed with updates to the thread because people are still upset on both sides. I could turn off the updates, but I wouldn't want to miss a post by FrozenCPU.

Also, if you use quotes, it means that you're quoting something the other party said. Could you point out where I said "educate"? It seems to me that you're changing my words to make me appear elitist. The only one that appears elitist and a liar here now, is you.

So please, assume less, exaggerate less and read more.

Thanks,

Jason

I can't believe that some of you think that he should be grateful that he even got the part at all. He paid for the part, he deserves to get what he paid for.

As far as not getting the 1 day shipping for free goes, I can understand that. FrozenCPU isn't exactly Amazon.com. They can't absorb $20 shipping losses as well as a bigger company can.

If I were dealing with them I'd only expect the normal shipping and nothing less. The way they handled it wasn't exceptional but it was adequate.

I doubt Amazon would even do that. people are just trying to take advantage of companies. I mean what would you ask of a normal person to do for you? say you bought a GPU from another member but they forgot some of the accessories, would you expect them to pay for overnight shipping? doh.gif

They offered to. Just not overnight shipping.

Maybe if he had ordered overnight to begin with then yes I can see them doing it then. But other than that, don't see a problem myself. Other than someone who's pretty much angry because he had a deadline that wasn't going to be met. Had he not had a deadline for when the build had to be complete or at least for parts to be in, I doubt this thread would have been made.

Technically, they are not paying for free shipping for him. He already paid to have all items shipped. They messed up. I don't agree with all his points and I don't think this a big deal at all, but he did pay for all items to be shipped once, so them shipping it separately and paying for it is their own fault. He already paid to have it shipped once.

I hope that makes sense. In any case, I don't think it needs a whole thread. To me, this is way overblown.

Haha, I see your point, but you really can't compare a business operation to someone on the OCN Marketplace selling their used GPU. In any case, as stated above, this is not a serious issue IMO.

Again, some of you are showing how little you know of running or managing a business.

Amazon, newegg and most computer manufacturers will overnight a part if they were obviously in error on the shipping. It is a small cost to them to keep the customer happy. During my career in IT, many companies have done this for me whether personal or professional.

It cost less to keep one customer happy than to advertise and replace that one customer. Advertising is EXPENSIVE! A college class in business marketing teaches that as a basic principal.

The percentage of mistakes is low in a successful company. $20 is pocket change. This is a company that operates in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, not someone you purchased a GPU from that makes minimum wage.

Seriously, go talk to someone about this that's not on this thread and see what they have to say about it.

I agree. I didn't expect more than a couple post before it fell to page 2. I just wanted to leave a review for ppl to consider when making purchases that were searching for reviews on google.
