Help Choosing Replacement Fans for H80

Thread Starter
Alright I've been trolling threads about new rad fans but it seems everyone here just end up recommending they get Gentle Typhoons. Although I would love to pick a pair up its just too hard to find, NCIX is the only store that sells them in Canada and their never in stock.

I would like to be able to buy from NCIX.com.

So heres a list of alternatives I've seen people recommend:

COUGAR CF-V12HP
Cooler Master Blademaster (little bit sceptical about this one)
Akasa 120mm x 25mm Viper PWM Fan w/ Hydro Dynamic Bearings (AK-FN059) (apparently not available in Canada either)
Noiseblocker Multiframe S-Series MF12-S3 HS - 120mm (also hard to find...)
Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120MM
Noctua NF-P12
Silverstone Air Penetrator

So I'm leaning towards the Cougar or the NF-F12, they seem to be about equal in performance. However, I think Noctua has a better reputation and the stationary fins look like they might lower noise and improve static pressure. Other thing is the Noctua fans are the only "OCN recommended" fans on NCIX.ca that are ever in stock. Even the Cougar's are on back order right now.

This leads me to my last question, what is the conciousness on the NF-F12 vs the NF-P12 for using on a rad? Do the stationary fins on the NF-F12 actually do anything or is it all marketing?

My main concern is keeping as much performance compared to the stock fans as possible while reducing the amount of noise it makes.

One last thing I also have a pair of GELID Silent 12 PWM already which is another option, but I am still prepared to buy two of the above fans if they are better.

Thanks in advance for any help, I really appreciate it.

I own two COUGAR CF-V12HPs, but they aren't on a rad, just case fans. They are damn quiet below 800 rpm and well constructed, but their static pressure is about average. I have two Blademasters on my Hyper 212+, and I can't hear them below 1000 rpm, but they're inside my case, so it's not a fair comparison.
