As for fans... this is a huge discussion, if I were to list every OEM, typical bearings, etc.. it will be a lot more confusing than it already is.
For example.. Delta and Sanyo Denki are the highest quality fans you'll find on a PSU, but neither of them are found on the quietest units you can buy... for example BeQuiet uses Protechnic fans for their E9 and P9 lineups and are among the quietest on the market... Super Flower uses Globe Fan and again are among the quietest on the market... Nexus uses ultra quiet sleeve bearing fans from Muhua Industrial.. so on and so forth.
