My first gaming build (need feedback)

So here is my first build, I just want feedback on if all of these products will work well together, if I need an after market cooler or just thoughts in general. I was on a budget so if you have any suggestions please keep in mind that i was on about a $650 budget and I went over it still lol. Here it is: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/6a5r

i see a 2500k, but that + your motherboard and that's half your budget.

I'd advise you to check out slickdeals.net surf around til you find the parts you need

Also, do you have a microcenter around? the 2500k is $180 there + i believe $50 off a motherboard (I think that promo is still on)

Otherwise yep, everything looks good. (a 6850, if you see it on slickdeals, will be $120)

i would also look into a cheap after market cooler like a hyper 212+ or hyper 212 evo and pay the 5-10 extra dollars for the hd6870 instead of the 6850.

and does it have to be an intel CPU? you can still get good gaming performance out of a cheaper AMD CPU

an i5 2500k just took 1/3 of your budget. i think u could prob go with an i3 2120 and still live. and i think Cooler Master makes pretty bad psu so i would refrain from using their power supplies and stick with corsair, seasonic, and PC& Power Cooling. all really nice brands of PSU. Everything else looks great tho. If u r lucky NCIX might have a sale on the Corsair 400r. I got mines wen it dipped all the way down to 60 biggrin.gif
