Yeah 1280*1024 is like a swear to my 590 but that's the biggest resolution my current monitor offers me frown.gif. I get 130 fps - 220 fps (I'm using Fraps to see that). My question is: What is better SSAO or HDAO? Also, is there a way to turn the Shaders to Very High?
Thank you =).

HDAO is better than SSAO

HDAO (High Definition Ambient Occlusion) is better then SSAO (Screen Space Ambient Occlusion). It's not likely you'll notice the difference between them. HDAO basically just cleans up the formula SSAO uses.

Interesting, I thought SSAO was better (I wish they had implemented HBAO. biggrin.gif).

I'll try HDAO then. smile.gif

well in after burner you have to go to monitoring, active monitoring graphis and put show in osd or whatever in the framerate option @ the bottom. but I keep hearing afterburner doesn't work cause it shows like 300+ fps some times, and fraps only shows 30-50 fps for me which can't be right with a 670 oc'ed so I recommend using dxtory I guess it shows 100-140 which seems to be the most reasonable. make sure you close afterburner and restart max payne to get dxtory to work.

I lol'd so hard at the fact that there are no dedicated servers...
Implementing a half-done DX11 wasn't bad enough...
Matchmaking... srsly... I'd happely play a game without DX11 as long as the multiplayer doesn't lag madsmiley.png

The difference is really subtle unless you know exactly what you are looking for. I mean shoot not many people even notice SSAO unless they are looking for it or see it side by side.
