Installation of REV.2 ICY vision on GTX680

Thread Starter 
Step:0 use this screw set below(detail installation step please see the installation manual)

Step:1 Prepare these two type of screw driver(cross and star type)

Step: 2 detach screws at the back of the board

Step: 3 detach screws at the PCI blacket

Step: 4 stick those ramsink or VRM sink, for VRM sink, the picture is just for your reference only, you can choose other type of VRM sinks inside packaging too.

Step: 5 connect the 4pin to the VGA board or the attached power cable

It will be like this after you installed the REV.2 ICY on GTX680

The card is not mine, they just allow me to test the fitting in their office only and return to them immediately...........
As soon as ICY can cool down GTX480/580, AMD 6970, so, the temperature on GTX680 should be quite nice

He said he is using dual monitors system.
temperature in dual monitors setup is higher than single monitor.

Cards don't downclock to low 51MHz idle when using multi monitor.

just for everyone to know i installed this on my EVGA Superclock and you need to do a small mod to one of the Heatsinks otherwise it hits the Heatpipe and you can get bad contact, i will add a pic i had to sand about 2.5-3mm off. also in the top left corner you can see a nut i added to secure the PCI Bracket to the card other wise it wont be a sturdy also i see that the OP did not secure it down so it will be most likely bow a little bit in a case since the PCI Bracket is not tightened down on the card



as you can see in the top left corner you MUST put a nut there other wise the PCI Bracket is going to be loose
