Installation of REV.2 ICY vision on GTX680 - Page 2

So first off this cooler does work as advertised. I was hesitant at first but my load temps went from 78c to 44c while playing bf3/ps2 - stock evga SC 2gb

Second you don't actually need to file down the heatsink anymore because the cooler comes with some low profile heatsinks so just use those on the spot mentioned above.

3rd the 2 sided tape is a ***** to put on so be warned that is by far the most tedious part of the whole install the rest goes together like butter.

I ended up putting tape on the ram + the ram heat sinks but then running out of tap so on the little squares on the right side i only put it on heat sink. did you do the same? it seems to be working fine but do you think this will hurt anything?

been gaming for a week now so im sure 1 layer of tape is fine. probably better since it's thinner so heat xfers better but i doubt it matters either way on the little parts.
