6100 reporting incorrect temps

Thread Starter
Ok, so i have my 6100 that is giving me the wrong temps while in OS, through HWmonitor, Coretemp and real temp, they all report 10degrees biggrin.gif (I wish) on stock volts btw. (At idle) but in bios it reports between 20-30 degrees. Is there a way to fix this?

Its the same on 2 different motherboards, first i tryed on an 880GM-USB3 then on a 990FXA-UD7.

Anybody know how to fix this, if you can?

Cheers

I do only know that all AMD Phenom II cpus have buggy temperature sensor because of implementation of previous generation Phenom's unrepaired temp sensor. And it shows upto 8-9c less than actual. If core temp shows 20c then in reality CPU is 29c hot.

I am really surprised that this is happening with latest AMD FX CPUs. What is your room temperature when it shows 10c ?
