1) Case roof --> Radiator --> Fans = air blowing up through the radiator and out the case (negative pressure design?)

2) Case roof --> Fans --> Radiator = air blowing down through the radiator into the middle of the case (positive pressure design?)

Actually one reason I'd like #2 if it's not so much of a bad idea, is the top of my case has metal tabs/flaps which make a hole for the plastic filtered vent to clip onto, this means I can't sit a radiator flat against the case roof (see 2nd picture below). Choices are hammer them flat (and risk the paint flaking off), rubber grommets to distance the radiator, or put the fans in first (#2 above), then radiator.


(Case pictures are of a SilverStone TJ04-E, in-case anyone wondered. The 2nd picture is the case upside down, showing the USB cables from the top of the case, and the metal flaps preventing a radiator from being mounted flush against the top panel.)
