I'd imagine that the cost of the cupcakes and shipping amounted to the ~$1,000 raised for it. That's ~$2.50 for each cupcake (with shipping) which sounds about right (for that amount -- individually they're probably $4 or more, but everything's cheaper in bulk).

Ye! lets complain that the game was a waste of money and get our money back from amazon etc then spend over $1000 in cupcakes to teach them a lesson tongue.gif

Hah, what a classy way to protest. Kudos to him. Love the satire behind it.

This is all over the news...Yahoo...Everyone in the industry is talking about it.
Why?
It was creative, it cost everyone a maximum of 5$, it got the message across in a NON VIOLENT MANNER.
This has garnered them and their cause, FAR more recognition and credit then any other PROTEST would've amounted.
100% success...Period.

Someone that actually understands what's going on. +rep

Or they could have gave them bran cupcakes and filled them with Exlax. I'm sure everyone who ate the cupcakes would have time to think about what they have done. The only downside is they may release Mass Effect 4 early.

So we assume that the cupcakes were sent to let them know of their disapproval of the ending/game.
One can safely conclude that these people at the very least do not like them.
Either what you claim is false, or the article is misleading.

Haha you donk. These people obviously love Bioware why else would they care enough to go through with all this? They care so much that a dissapointing ending to what to these people was probabally one of their favorite game series made them go out of their way to let the developers know.

Possibly dumb question incoming. What's the deal with ME3? I haven't played it yet.
