New DD-M6 waterblock temps?

Thread Starter
I just replaced my DD-TDX with a DD-M6, since I heard the DD-M6 was a much better block, and I have always had high temps (or at least I thought they were high) with my DD-TDX.

I am running a CoreI7 930 @ 3.8 1.2v and it is still pegging pretty hard, up to 70c in OCCT LinPack. Is that a normal temp for my proc and this block?

I just added a GTX 680 to my loop, and at full load dynamic pegged @ 1300mhz, it only pegs 44c in EVGA's furmark type test.

Does the I7 chip I have just run hot in general?
