So here's the deal.
i have 4 fans that come from an old server rack.
they are wired together and powered by a standard PSU power cable.
(i'll get the specs on it when i get home)
Questions:
1. How do i splice in a toggle switch to the PSU cable?
2. I want to eventually run them from an aux PSU using molex adapters if possible, How do i do this?
(there are two unmarked cables coming out of each fan, not sure what is pos/neg).
The switch in the PSU cable is a temporary thing until i get everything together...at which point i will convert to molex.
also, these fans are BEASTSS...when i do molex i don't want to lose any power...i don't care about noise
