This kind of DRM again. When will publisher learn how wrong this is?

As long as it's stable, I don't mind. I'm interested to see how the in-game economies will be influenced by players.

Maybe I'll buy multiple copies to make up for a few protesters. I <3 Sim City.

I have no problem with Origin, why do people keep saying it's bad?
Sim city having to be online all the time doesn't bother me either, it's going to be a good game anyway.

Still buying thumb.gif

Oh come on guys! How often are you going to really be without an internet connection? And when you are, will you be playing sim city or will you be fiddling with the router to get your connection back? And don't say when you're traveling. Ive been in long multi day road trips, its near impossible to do any more then just watch movies. Playing games is out of question there. You might say when you're on a plane, to which I ask if you're going to bring your desktop with you?

Come on guys, its 2012. If one doesn't have even a basic DSL connection that's always on, you probably live out in the middle of no where and can at least get satellite connection going. While it would be stupid of them not to include an offline mode, it's not like the online mode is the end of the world. Assuming it's stable, it really shouldn't be an issue.

The internet connection isn't my issue.

I'm so sick and tired of Origin. I'm trying my best in keeping Origin from scanning ANYTHING but the folder it is installed in. I have caught it scanning my browser history and registry.

This is what bothers me.

I still use Origin, but I thought they fixed their terms of use a while ago mad.gif

If I ever decide to buy this game, it will only be when a decent crack is out.
Man, this sucks. Thank God there are people dedicated to make cracks for this.

HOW? I could use the tip...

Shame, I would definitely buy it, but this is a huge turnoff. Hence, I might be forced to resort to other means of playing the game.

For me: If I pay a price of X for a product, I do not want to pay a premium in terms of hijacked personal data, which EA could sell/exploit. I just want to pay and play and I value my privacy.
