Thanks for that just found the values and they are corresponding with CPU-Z - I then had to go and search VID vs vCore and it all makes sense now.

Okay, got it from Primany, thanks smile.gif

Can you please tell me what am I missing, since I always keep both of my monitors at 125% Custom scalling level [on Win 10 Pro]?

Remember the other day when I've PM-ed you about a Linux [Mint] monitoring tool? A, ha, ha... Still struggling, Conky has been suggested but I've probably have to take a Degree on OSes in order to set it up, so momentarily I'm fixed with i7z, to be able to monitor my CPU, at least... No worries! And all this for what? Just because nobody really knows what Windows 10 phones back to Mama! No problemo in having a new OS keeping me busy and...at least some others are mad with this situation, as well!...

Ever since switching to GTX1080, I haven't been able to open HWINFO64. It just gets stuck during video adapter detection. I tried ticking/un-ticking settings related to waking gpus, different drivers, and have recently done a clean install of Windows 10 and it still won't open.

I scanned the last couple of months in this thread and didn't see anyone else report this issue. Is this a known issue with the latest Nvidia cards?

I hope CNIL will win. I am using Win10, but with several tweaks (my own scripts to disable and uninstall a lot of stuff) + OOSU10. I never used any of their apps or store, not even having an account there wink.gif

Do you have a single GPU, or using SLI? I had some reports that when SLI is enabled and a certain display configuration is used with R368 or later drivers, the NVML init can hang: http://www.hwinfo.com/forum/Thread-Freeze-Detecting-Video-Adapter-s
It's definitively a bug in NVIDIA drivers.
Try to grab the latest HWiNFO Beta build and add the "NvmlSupport=0" setting into HWiNFO64.INI as described on that forum.
Please let me know the result...
Yes, I had SLI. I took the second card out last night and just tried to open HWINFO64 immediately after posting and now it works. I was going to edit my post to say that it seems to be SLI related, but you beat me to the punch (thanks for the quick response). When I get around to putting the second card back in, I'll try the add the "NvmlSupport=0" setting to the INI.

Thanks again. Among other things, I love that this program reports cpu vcore correctly instead of other programs that only report cpu vid.

Yes, I hope they will win, too!! Great that you're dealing with that stuff! I do the same as you, in my primary OS, but I'm using W10Privacy. Give it a try, if you wish smile.gif
I used my second SSD to participate in the Technical Preview (Insider) program, and there I had an account and I was testing it. No other programs were installed (besides CCleaner and HWiNFO64). From all the Apps I just kept Calculator. No other App worthed it, for me. IF they won't change, I'll head towards Tails, after I'll get the hang of Mint. I won't expect any monitoring tool like HWiNFO, there, hahaha...Thanks!thumb.gif

Oh yes, actually I kept the Calculator only, but there are some things I don't like - it loads too slow and doesn't keep the number entered when I switch between Dec/Hex. So I copied the good old one from WinXP smile.gif
The idea of making HWiNFO for Linux is still in my head, but it would be a really huge effort - several months of intensive porting and testing... Also I guess the GUI could be problematic because of the various Linux flavors...
