[OFFICIAL] HWiNFO/32/64 Thread - Page 78

I don't think it's caused by the latest version. I'm rather surprised that the measurement is so precise. If you don't want to see it fluctuate, disable BCLK Periodic Polling in HWiNFO.

Okay, you definitely know better since you are the developer. smile.gif

All I can reassure of is that it is the first time ever I've seen those two sensors changing from the value of "100.0 MHz". I am not used to this, so yes, it feels kind of awkward but...IF they are more accurate than before, so IF, for example, this max of 100.9 MHz that I see right now for both represents the actual - accurate Max these values have taken, then I will leave it as it is, because among everything else I am interested in accuracy. Thank you for the "Periodic Polling" function, as well, I was not aware of it. I will try it smile.gif

Martin, I'd like to remind you that "VCore Max" request of mine, something similar to the "Core Max" temperature smile.gif
Whenever you'll feel like implementing it, I will definitely welcome it!! thumb.gif

Thank you.

ps_1: if you would like a Debug file I could provide it.
ps_2: each time a new version becomes available I delete the Registry key, start it and observe the changes, and finally close it - load my preferences again (the .reg file), start it, close it (save it) and reboot. I don't know if this procedure I follow might have provoked a glitch or something.

I'm sorry, but I don't think I'll implement the Vcore Max value soon. This is a mainboard-specifc value and thus a bit difficult to integrate (internally) into the existing framework.
I'll rather concentrate on custom font type/color for the sensor items.

How is the VCore Max implementation, motherboard specific? Will it not (can it not) take its value from the already monitored values of VCore # ?

I've also read the pop-up about the periodic polling... Well yeah, but this would mean to read the BCLK value one time and not monitor it... I don't like that. So, do you think that these two values are monitored more accurately now than they were previously ?

It's difficult to explain how internally HWiNFO works, but believe me, it's quite complicated wink.gif

No, those values are monitored the same way as they were before.

Okay Martin, I thought that this "VCore Max" value could be somehow implemented by simply seeking the already monitored maximum values from "Current", "Min" and "Max" of the VCore(s) # and show it, calculating the Average of it on the last column.

Regarding the Bus / PCIe clock(s) unexpected new behavior, I will leave it as it is. I suppose if this is a "glitch" other users will refer to this, too.

Good luck with the custom font type / color thumb.gif

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

How is that "custom font type/color" feature going?

Thanks!
