Hey Mumak,

Love the software!

I'm trying to get HWInfo64 start with Windows 7 (sp1 pro) as quickly as possible. My Aquaero gets and curves fans off sensor data from HWInfo with their Aquasuite software.

Can I ...
Have HWInfo64 start and run before logging into my user?
Make it boot quicker?

Also is there a way to open Summary when HWInfo is started as Sensors Only?

It's not possible to start HWiNFO program sooner than other applications before logging-in, but there are certain optimizations possible:
Currently HWiNFO has a 5 second delay during automatic start as a scheduled task. This was introduced, because sometimes HWiNFO needed certain services to be active. You can adjust this delay by going into Windows Task Scheduler and change the properties of the HWiNFO task.
Also, if you think that HWiNFO scan takes too long, which can happen on some systems, there are options (like disabling GPU I2C Support), to make it significantly faster. But this depends on the configuration of a particular machine.

Can't you get the aquero software to delay its startup?

I'm not sure as I'm not using it. But in case it starts via Task Scheduler (as most tasks to), then you can adjust it as you wish and add a custom delay or trigger.

Thanks Mumak! I'll use the tweaks until I graduate into curving off my DeltaT on the aquaero

The issue is that the Aquero is waiting for Aquasuite to send it a fan speed curved off of temperature sensors in HWinfo. Until that happens the PC is Purdy loud smile.gif

What is the best way to use sensor .csv logs for graphs form? GenericLogViewer is pretty limited and useless.

Hi Friend,

Not sure if I understood the question in the correct context, but I always use Microsoft Excel when graphing the logs of HWInfo if that helps. I like raw data as I wanted to slice-and-dice it to form graphs based on my interest.

Hi, thanks for quick reply. Can you explain me how exactly do you work with csv hwinfo64 logs @ MS Excel? Because those logs are pretty messy. All those vallues are stacked next to each other so I think its a little hard to work with it.

Hi Friend,

Ah, so it means I understood your question then. :)

Do you usually work with Microsoft Excel at work? If not, then it might be a bit challenging for you. This question of yours now becomes a "Microsoft Excel how-to" kind of question. :)

Try to Google "how to make a chart" if you want to learn more about it. Anyway, here's a very simple example I created for you. Just follow and apply the logic to the data produced by HWInfo. :)

sample.xlsx 14k .xlsx file

I have previous Excel charts when I was overclocking my Sandy Bridge (Intel Core i7-2700K). I'll look for it and I'll send you so that you have more samples.

In fact, I don't work with Excel so I don't know much about it and I know I'll have to learn it. I was just exploring options because correct me if I'am wrong but I have to manually "export" all those values I want to use in graphs because in the logs hwinfo64 creates I can't mark all values I want at the same time, is that correct?
