Worth upgrading my Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme?

Is there anything out there that is worth upgrading to over a properly lapped Ultra-120 Extreme?

I am currently using it on a Q6600 and I am FINALLY going to be upgrading my system after years and years. Does this heatsink still hang with the big boys? I love the looks of it and with the new bracket system they have install is cake.

it`s still good but over that one

Noctua NH D14
Zalman CNPS12X
Phanteks PH-TC14PE
Thermalright Silver Arrow

at same level +/-

Thermalright Venomous X/X RT
Thermalright Archon
Prolimatech Megahalems/Genesis/Megashadow
FRIO OCK

but with 2 fans performs very good thumb.gif

Now top dog from TR is Silver arrow it beats anything (also NH D14s)

Unless you have an over-heating issue I'd say stick with what you have. If you need a better HSF there are a number of slightly better units now worth a few degrees C.

Hmmm, for the money I may just keep what I have. Looks like there are gains to be had but not anything massive. That silver arrow does look awesome though!
