MCP655 doesnt fit XSPC Reservor tank for Laing D5?

Thread Starter
New to the forum so be nice smile.gif

I have the Swiftech MCP655 pump and I thought this would fit the XSPC reservoir.

http://www.watercoolinguk.co.uk/p/XSPC-Acrylic-Tank-Reservoir-for-Laing-D5-MCP655_1452.html

However it no where near fits, a good centimeter gap between back of reservoir and plastic bracket. I have removed everything off the pump so I see the metal top.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Unfortunately not, I have had to use a different reservoir for now.

Laing D5 is the same as the MCP655 though isnt it?

Yes the 655 is a rebranded D5.

Well I know for a fact that when taken apart, my pump has bigger metal lip on it than in this picture. Mine is double the size.

ummm think there is a square bracket or adaptor that fits on there to attach it.
im using this with a mcp655 right now. it should come with a bracket to hold it on and some o rings to prevent leaking. it works fine. the only problem i had was unscrewing that big plastic circle was a ***** haha.
