Re: Logitech Customer Support

Thread Starter
My G500 started to drop 50% + of left clicks last week,I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers and Setpoint in safe mode,no change sadly. frown.gif
I contacted Logitech Customer Support and 3 emails later my replacement was being shipped.

Total time till the replacement was in my hands was 7 days,5 if you don't count the weekend.

Tldr-Logitech replaced my defective 2.5 year old mouse with minimal fuss and reasonable speed, thus confirming why I will be buying all my future mice from them.

Three cheers for Logitech Customer Support. thumb.gif

Logitech recently sent me a BNIB G700, because the G10 button on my G700 was stuck... Best customer support, I have ever gotten!

Finally a thread for vendor praise. Logitech has always done right by me as well.

Over the years I've only had to deal with Logitech's CS a few times and every time it's been a pleasure. They definitely have the best support of any hardware company I've dealt with. Now they just need to come out with a new mouse that uses the wingman shell and the g400 (or something as good) sensor, then they'll be the best company period. thumb.gif

Yeah Logitech support is awesome. I emailed them asking if they could just send me out some replacement mice feet (even thought they have them for sale on their website) and they shipped some out no problem...bought the mouse used even thumb.gif

Sorry to raise the dead, but I'm having the exact opposite experience with my g500 warrenty. I woke up a week ago to find my left click bringing down the drop down menus as the right click should and no function from the right click at all. Thumb button 5 is also dead. After 5 days of e-mailing customer support they instructed me to ship the mouse with its original packaging and receipt. The mouse is 2 years and 2 months old of course I don't have iether of those things and on top of it the nearest shipping center is 4 miles away and I don't drive... I could almost buy a new g500 for the price of a cab to the shipping center... then they tell me there will be a 7-10 day processing period. I wish I could just prove to these guys the thing is half dead and toss it in the garbage instead of going through this hassle.

However I am convinced its the representative you talk to who decides how easy these things go. so I will keep contacting them until I get someone who is more helpful

I do like logitech and have been using there mice for over 7 years, and they may be giving me a hard time because my phone lost its signal twice while speaking to them.

Threads like this one http://www.overclock.net/t/1114333/logitech-i-love-you/0_50 make me wanna cry... all i want is a working g500 ...

Logitech has been great to me over the years. I submitted a tech support form on Tuesday 2-5-13 and no response yet. Hoping it would be a quick replacement this time. Maybe a busy week....
