It will probably last far past when you'll want to be using it either way. As long as you overclock it properly.

You will probably have a new cpu far before your 2500k decides to fail. 1.29-1.3v seems to be a popular voltages for a 4.5ghz OC so I would start from there smile.gif

It's a K series chip for a reason. It's meant for overclocking. If you buy a K series chip and don't overclock you are a dead man to me. wink.gif

It will last years really. Far beyond what you want before upgrading.

Thanks biggrin.gif Any suggestions for a nice heatsink for it? I know the stock one probably won't do after I overclock it.
