Yes, Primus. I keep the default clocks speed.

The test I did in "small FFTs"

Regarding VDDNB, what voltage is that I have to give? I do not like leaving anything to "auto" ... what happens is that I fail to see the current VDDNB, so I do not know what voltage guide me.

Nope, mines a C3. I tried a slight voltage bump but I want stability over pure speed, so I never went more than two voltage bumps over stock. Cooling is handled via a 212+, but clearly, it isn't a heat issue. Raising the voltage seems to not make much of a difference, but as always YMMV when it comes to a chip and a budget board, as in my case.

First of all, I have this hardware:
M4A78L-M
Kingston Hyper X DDR 2 800mhz
Phenom II X4 965 C3 (CoreTemp indicates that the VID is 1.475v)
Corsair VX450W.
Well, so far I've tried putting the processor to 3.8GHz, raising it by multiplying (not FSB), but I put the Prime95 1.40vy I endured 11 hours without error, but then I played Battlefield Bad Company 2, and 5 minutes play, the game is crash.
I tried several options, set it to 3.6GHz and 1.37v, but nothing gave me errors in the Linx, Prime95, etc.
Previously had an Athlon II X2 250 and got put to 3.4ghz (400mhz or c) without any problem ... wonder why this, being BE, can not: (
You think it can be a problem of instability by the NB Frequency? I have to oc it? (it's 2.0GHz by default).
So far I've only tried to turn up the multiplier to the processor, and set the voltage manually to 1.40v.
Regards

how many sticks of ram do you have installed.just forget that i see your MOB has 2 slots

See if you can pass 3 loops of 3dMark Vantage CPU tests, just the CPU tests. If it crashes, it's probably CPU-NB or RAM.

You can also run Prime Blend to test CPU-NB/RAM, but it can take hours.

What are your HT bus, CPU-NB and RAM clocked at?

So do not advise me to overclock to have 4+1 phases?

You can, just not the best idea. You can still overclock it, just don't push it too far as OCp or something might kick in and make you lose performance instead.

OCp? I do not know what it is.

If I put some heatsinks to the VRM's? could overclock without problems?

VDDNB voltage is CPU/NB voltage on a C3 and is used to stabilize the NB Freq, not the actual NB. http://www.overclock.net/t/762641/voltages-whats-what-and-what-they-mean

I know this comes late but hope it might clear this up any way.
