Nah your current 955 OC speed I am asking about . We need you to get that stable OC speed and run any game and monitor your temp. As xFALL3Nx has mentioned a new mobo with 8+2 phase would be fantastic for that chip. You should change the memory to DDR3 they hardly cost anything nowadays.

But to switch to DDR3, I have to change motherboard ...

Currently I have not OC my processor is 3.4ghz default ... I would leave it to 3.9ghz or so, without going over 1.4v.

But does the 3.9 Gs cause any problems ? is it stable ? FSB changes will bring changes to memory speed

I have not tried to put it to 3.9ghz, but I said in # 1, I tried to put a multiplier 3.8GHz, 1.40v, RAM default (800mhz), NB default, and default FSB ... Was stable with Prime 95, 11 hours, but then after 10 minutes of playing BFC2, I wasn't stable.

Could overclock FSB, leaving RAM to 908mhz, the 3.8GHz processor, and the NB to 2.200mhz, to see if it is stable.

increase FSB little by little. on BE I would use the multi. but give it a try. best option is to change mobo.

What are the consequences of overclocking on this motherboard? Having 3 +1 Phases, I can damage it? I have a good heatsink, CM Hyper 212, With Two Ultra Kaze 3000.

I have 5 120mm connected today in an Elite 370 smile.gif yes you can damage the board. So try an OC of 200 Mhz and run prime. Even at times I have the same problem with the 960T (just purchased) on an Asus M4a78lt-m le , prime runs fine and then out of the blue when flying in FSX I BSOD dump and reboots.

Dude..your setup is a train wreck waiting to happen
underpowered psu..4+1 phase unsinked vrm board + 125+ watt cpu..Why don't you just go buy some m80s or something?Oh..the ram is not stellar,either..

OK..Keep your 965 be..It's a decent enough chip
1st)get better psu..@ least 500w on a single rail
2nd) get better mobo..can't believe XD hasn't been here yet...If you're strapped for cash..look here:
http://www.geeks.com/products_sc.asp?cat=1220 For now..only the 2 top ones are any good atm
3rd)I got a 965 be up to 4.4 on a Sabertooth..umm..960T is a notch better..and consider what kind
of aftermarket cooling you want..stock doesn't cut it..XD has been hawking these:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835214023&nm_mc=OTC-Froogle&cm_mmc=OTC-Froogle-_-CPU+Cooling-_-Enermax-_-35214023
Supposed to be a notch better than 212s..IDK cuz umm..click my sig wink.gif
Get your hardware right..then follow the steps here:(best amd guide on the interwebs)

If you overclock OCP will give you unreliable operation without VRM cooling and you'll lose more performance than you gain.
