The person i got it from had it stable at 1125 / 1575 :/ I'm trying to ask her how she did it, and what voltage changes, if any, were made.

I agree, maybe the person who had the card did change any voltage.

Whenever someone tells you the piece can go to that speed, you need to know the voltage, or overclock by yourself thumb.gif

Disable ULPS?

I haven't. What does it do, and how would I?

Have tried all those suggestions in7970 owner's club? If that all didn't fix it. Try this;

To turn off ULPS;

1. Go to regedit (start > search programs and files > "regedit").
2. In drop down menu: find file > type "enableulps".
3. For ALL instances (keep pressing F3) change the "1" value to a "0".
4. Reboot PC

Note: exit Afterburner and CCC prior to editing.

I actually got it working >.< I guess the CCC power bump wasn't working, so I had to go through the steps to enable my voltage slider in MSI AB tongue.gif I thought it needed more power, as others said, so i did just that! Working great now. Now I just have to worry about my annoying screen tearing (both with vsync on and off)

This all with a single card too. Can't wait to get my second tongue.gif

Just a heads up for the future, the voltage and the power limit are in no way related. The power limit is more for the safety of the card. The voltage is what will increase your stability. Crashing is a symptom of low voltage, slow-downs are a symptom of the power limit! thumb.gif
