I think this is even worse than the guy complaining about FrozenCPU

Lol classic....

But seriously I have heard nothing but bad things about asus rma to the point that Im not sure Im going to buy their gpu the next time around, luckily my gpu works fine and has been a great buy, but im worried about the rma process if I ever need to send it in.....On a side note, msi is amazing with rma, they even let me willcall it since I live close by. Its their RMA why I think my next gpu will be an msi after all these asus problems.

I think personally since i have their "ROG" line I feel safer with one of those products and the advance rma with the first being new, but if they burn me once on something they advertise I will stick to another company. I really like their mobo's though so I hope I never need to RMA one.

I have to say that when their products work there great. Until now i was praising asus to all who needed a motherboard.. but how can a company send a broken broad that they claim every port was tested and then blame every other company or possible problem..

How can they run a company where every department runs seperately and in different buildings.. where 5 techs cant get me a person who has the authority to help me.. the guy ive been dealing with Jorge actually seemed like he wanted to help at the end.. probably not to deal with me again but he cant nor can he get intouch with anyone who can..

I mean i call amazon and rma'd my h100 and they sent it next day and then i sent the broken one back. And i got that kind of service over a chat conversation at 11am... now that is service.. not 4 days later and no help..

I'm in the same position as you with asus at the moment. Sure is wasting a lot of time! I originally sent in my mobo to get it fixed/repair. they sent it back in 10 business day with the same problem! I was furious and asked for a advanced replacment which I recieve today (04-10-12), appears to be worst than my current mobo(looks like ****, show sign of use like scratches here and there) I'm plannign to put it together later today and pray that it works. I'm tired of dealing with asus reps! typical phone call takes 20-40 minutes and most of the time im put on hold(actual talk duration with the rep is 2 to 3 minute. rest of time your on hold)

Any methods to get new replacement? I have no faith in the mobo I receive today.

The second one I got seemed better, looked new and I guess works (fingers still crossed). I no longer call up and go to the tech support mobo department.. They cant do anything there.. I call up and hit "0" for the operator and tell them I need to speak with a Customer Care rep. They can do advance rma, or rapid RMAs.. just tell them you spoke with several tech reps and they cant fix your problem and your very unstatisfied.. Honestly, I doubt they will care or go the extra mile for you (they didnt with me), but atleast your get another board or however you want to go about doing it.. This time around they did place a hold on my account for $210, which last time they didnt..

I wish you luck.. Asus makes a great product but then they dont work....yea its almost better to buy another board.. I def thought about it once or twice.. just keep calling and complaining..

Yes, the mobo i receive today was advanced rma(I would of thought they send me new or mint condition mobo since they put on hold of 350$ on cc), I wish I can just deal with asus in person(fremont) to avoid all the down time(6 weeks)and hassle as they are not far from where I live. Instead, both mobo came from Illinois, how inconvenient considering how close I am to asus headquarters.

Hope this beatup mobo function properly, Otherwise I'm definitely going to rage at asus for wasting my time!
thanks for the tips mattes, Will proceed with your method on my next call

Its ridiculous and doesn't make sense since I'm local. currently dealing with older mobo, p6x58d premium. I kind of tempting to just call and get another mobo instead of settling with such beatup replacment.
