Quick Disconnect Question.

Thread Starter
Am I correct with this quick disconnect fittings size? I am using PrimoChill PrimoFlex PRO LRT Tubing 3/8"ID 1/2".

Koolance QDC (High Flow) No-Spill Shutoff Nozzle, Female Compression (10mm, 3/8" x 13mm, 1/2") (VL3N-F10S)

Koolance QDC (High Flow) No-Spill Shutoff Nozzle, Male Compression (10mm, 3/8" x 16mm, 5/8") (VL3N-M10-16S)

Also will it restrict the flow of the loop?

Thanks!

EDIT: With the "best/harsh" advice of IRC folders folks. I'm not gonna go with QD anymore biggrin.gif Thanks to them!

Female VL3N-F10S goes with Male VL3N-M10S (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/9506/koo-187/Koolance_QDC_High_Flow_No-Spill_Shutoff_Nozzle_Male_Compression_10mm_38_x_13mm_12_VL3N-M10S.html?tl=g30c405s1026).
Both are for 3/8'' ID + 1/2'' OD tubing.

The VL3N-M10-16S is for 3/8''ID + 5/8'' OD tubing and so it does not fit your tubing size.

Regarding the restriction introduced by using QDCs, it is quite minimal. Do not worry.

I am using VL2N series QDCs and they are truly no-spill. Good stuff!
