Antec Kuhler 620 on my GTX 680, pictures and temps inside - Page 12

On a closer look, my idea will not work, judging from the L-shape hose connector. Also using an adaptor plate for the installation, would only add two more barriers between the GPU and the pump. GPU>TIM>copper plate>TIM>pump instead of just GPU>TIM>pump.

I think I'm gonna go with your other bracket (w/ fan mount), and use the ramsinks I've got. Cheers.

The shim shouldn't make all that much difference. Its like an extension of the block. biggrin.gif I still want to try it.

I dont know the exact size or thickness needed. It shouldn't hurt temperatures too bad. Probably like having an IHS on a regular gpu chip.

I think it needs to be pretty thick. If you take the stock block that covers the gpu off. You can pretty much see the exact size as it has a copper shim (if you will) on it already. Hence the need to do this. I would measure but I am getting a replacement card.

How much is the small bracket btw.

Thanks, I will keep that in mind. Actually returned my 620 for a silver arrow. GPU back to air for now. But I am on the lookout for a cheap used H50.

Hey, I was just reading through your thread, and started wondering if u could make a mounting bracket for a Asus gtx 560ti and a H60 cooler. As far as I know the asus gtx560ti isnt a reference card.

You may want to list what exact 560ti you have. Beyond just saying its Asus. thumb.gif

Just want to be sure this bracket (the original) works with an H50 right.
