Im sad about my RAM/video card

Ok, so I got new OCZ 2GB PC2-6400 EL Platinum XTC Edition Rev. 2 and my 3dmark score went DOWN, and my system is slower, this makes me mad and sad i mean 360 bucks on ram and its slower than my 179.95 ram....thats sad and its an extra gig, so i wonder if maybe there could be something that could be making it slower any ideas?

EDIT: this is in xp

Running 2Gb will slow down performance when benchmarking, i bet if you took a gig out and ran some benchmarks it would be alot better, but anyhow keep it and try to tweak it some.

I have similiar RAM and am having no trouble at all. You need to adjust the speed in the BIOS - at least I had to after I installed it.

I've got this, not sure if its the same as yours.

I'm running at 800Mhz (400 FSB right now), timings are 4-4-4-10, voltage at 2.25. Hope that helps.

Run some BF2 benchmarks...I know for a fact it really prefers 2gb, so that should provide a clear increase in fps.

Hey, just for fun (and desire to flaunt your huge amount of RAM), open Firefox and create 100 tabs from the Latest Headlines (Open All in New Tabs). LOL sry...tired.
