Lol @ the hotwire comments... replacing hardmodding huh... what do think your doing exactly with that solder then ..?doh.gif

I don't even know where you're going and why the doh.gif?

The hotwire on the DC2, you know it is called hotwire because the thing is setup so you DON"T have to solder hardmods to defeat the OCP??

That USB attached OC module on the back of the board ought to be real interesting especially connecting to the proposed front of case 5.25" bay display module. cigar.gif

i think this card will sell well if they get it out before the msi lightning version. otherwise, i think more people would rather put their money into a more respected brand. i'm not saying zotac is bad. i used to have sli gtx 480's from them, and they were great.

That is just hilarious

They may use cheezy marketing BS, but that card hit 1354 MHZ!

Yes that was the best so far I have had my eye on for USA launch and the price was pennies extra USA but now...

I'm feeling the jelly for the Zotac - man a bay OC module...

For the guy who said who would spend on it without being a life Oc'er unless they are crazy...

Hey, some of us like massive speed with stability and will OC but not spend our skills doing so, and that puppy

I can crank up easily and beat all the expert overclockers here... sounds like an awesome crutch for me... :-) fast, easy I win.

That is worth some serious cash to me. Definitely.

What is your deal? I'm not even trying to fight with you here? Oh, you just want to argue cuz you have a bone to pick over the word solder??

ROG + DC2 hotwire versus going nuts like this. ANd this is just for the OCP, nevermind the other mods for mem volts, etc.

The hotwire would be great for voltage control if it was supported on more mobos, solder on the hotwire & just plug in the headers from board to board. But even then, if you want to break records, you would still have to make that spider web of wires in cl3p20s pic to break the OCP. Ready to go solder points on a card for that stuff would be nice, a guy can get pretty bug eyed soldering up all those tiny connections while making sure not to bridge anything. Hardmodding is likely here to stay, I think the manufacturers would be a bit scared to release a card that has the full package of mods ready to connect cause people would try it out. If on air, the card wouldn't last long & returns would go through the roof.
